Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean.
My sibling's music teacher, Farid Ishkinyaev, wanted to establish a new face to his music school. I did a complete redesign, starting with a brand new logo, and an online aesthetic that presents the uniqueness and the professionalism of the music school much better.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
Forte Music School logo design process
During my initial research process, I noticed the previous logo did not quite fit the theme of the school as it should have. I thought, why not create something that would embody what the school represents?
I liked the idea of a bold red color to be used, but I wanted to make the logo combine the old, classical theme of the music school with a modern touch. I decided to begin playing around with positive and negative space.

I also liked the idea of the slanted f - the same f used as the "forte" symbol in sheet music - and how it ties in this wordplay with the logo. However, I noticed that the idea was overused, and the original logo resembled the logos of other musical institutions. I wanted to maintain the f idea, but how can I make it original?
Then it dawned on me: use the f, but not the forte symbol, but the f shape carved into violins. It was perfect! From there, the rest was simple - and the result that came out was, needless to say, one that Farid and I were both very satisfied with.
The Forte Music School project has allowed me to explore another avenue relating to design: content creation. The client was very happy with the web design, so he encouraged me to brainstorm other method of promoting the school. After designing the website, I began to move into video creation, editing, and social media management.
I began by creating a promotional video for the school - I wrote the script, filmed the content for the video, then edited the results in Adobe After Effects, to produce the final product. The process was an interesting experience for me; it gave me the confidence to know that I can branch out and expand my skillset into other avenues of content creation.
